The girls loved exploring this teeny-tiny toy shop crammed full of the cutest toys you have ever seen. Their favorites were the bins and bins full of miniature wind-up toys. I told them they could each pick one to buy and it took them about 10 minutes to decide which lucky toy was going to be coming with us.
Next we were off to the Farmer's Market, which happens every Wednesday. There is NO doubt that I will be buying our fruits and vegetables there! There was an amazing selection of ripe food and fresh flowers galore, we particularly loved the vendors who offered samples! But after looking at all things healthy we treated ourselves to some frozen yogurt, dee-lish!!
To end our day we settled down in a grassy area right in the middle of the city. There were people kicking around soccer balls, kids playing chase and lots of lounging on the plush grass. The girls made friends with a little girl named Valentine, who claimed to "beat up 7 1/2 year olds." Lucky for me, she had her school shirt on and it's NOT the school that Emma will be attending!! Here are some pictures I snapped at the park. . .
Wish I would have been snapping pictures of all the activities we did that day, but maybe the suspense will make you even more eager to come visit us!!
