mommy-fessions

I have decided to devulge a few confessions on my blog and I thought it would be cute to call them 'mommy-fessions'.  So here goes my first with many more to come. . .

Today was a preschool day, and getting the kids out of the house on those days tend to be more hectic than any other day.  I like to get myself and the baby ready for the day so we don't have to come back home after dropping off the girls.  I am always be fighting the clock.  The girls never want to get ready, they take their time, they drag their feet, they whine.  This morning was like all the rest. . .rush, rush, rush, stress, stress, stress.

I finally have all three girls in the car we are 1/4 of the way to school and Chloe says, 'Mommy I am REAAAAAAAAALLLLLY hungry.'  I think about it for a millisecond and realize that I totally forgot to feed the rugrat.  CRAP!  I can't send her to school on an empty tummy, so I am trying to think quick.  I look in the center console for stale goldfish crackers (they seem to always end up ther), but NO luck.  I frantically dig in my diaper bag, maybe there is a granola bar in there, NO luck.  Then out of the corner of my eye I see an orange wrapper.  I move some papers out of the way to find a. . .

Chloe is my choco-holic, but for some reason she has never like Reese's, well today she became a big fan!  As we were pulling into the school's parking lot, I am unwrapping this snack-sized treat and handing it back to my 3 year-old daughter for breakfast!!  I made stay in the car with it (because I didn't dare want any other moms to see me feeding my child a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup at 9:00 am!).  She savored every morsel of it.  She jumped out of the car and happily said, 'Thanks Mommy, my tummy feels goooooood now!'

So there you have it, my mommy-fession of the day!

Hey, it's my favorite candy. I find nothing wrong with eating it for breakfast every once in awhile. (We're supposed to eat well-rounded meals, right??) Love you!
