Okay, so I don't really have any substantial news. You know the kind you need to drop everything and read about immediately. But I just had to share these little tidbits. . .
First of all, don't these two make the cutest couple ever! They were born exactly 7 weeks apart and it's been so fun watching them 'grow-up' together.
Of course, my sweet Alyssa is always playing hard to get and she tried to claw out Beau's poor, innocent eyeball. But in her defense, she doesn't know any better, she's just a tiny baby, right?!
Well she's getting harder and harder to defend because this isn't the first time she has been a bully to poor Beau! And for some reason she always goes for the eyes.
In other news, it was Hamid's birthday last week, and my very dear friend Kelly, who just happens to also be Beau's mom, gave me a great gift idea. I took this picture of the girls and framed it for him to put on his desk at work.
Oh, and we found an awesome house to rent in Buellton!! We'll officially be Central Coast residents as of July 1st. I have fallen in love with the idea of living in a small town. It will be interesting to see how we adjust to a slower pace of life, but I am optimistic. We are in a great location, just down the road from Solvang and Santa Ynez (aka wine country), 30 minutes north of the 'big' city of Santa Barbara and about 40 minutes south of Pismo/Avila/SLO.
And this little monkey is going to be so excited when we finally move into our new house, because the backyard has 6 fruit trees for her to climb!
