Let Freedom Ring

WE MADE IT!!!

Our big move is complete and we COULD NOT have done it without our amazing friends who volunteered their muscles and their time to help our family keep the sanity.  I meant to take pictures of each step of the move, but stress and exhaustion don't make for a good photographer!  Realistically, 'The Move' needs to have it's own post.  There were so many moments, a few glitches, and overall protection from God that made it all happen.  To those of you who helped us move, thank you, no really THANK YOU!!!  Needless to say, I feel blessed to be on the otherside of it!

Well, I wasted no time dusting off the camera to catch some of our fun July 4th moments in our new town. We started the day with the big Solvang parade!

Okay, so it wasn't huge, nothing is in this neck of the woods, but the girls and I loved EVERY second of it, Hamid not so much!  My brother and sister-in-law have made a tradition of spending the 4th of July with us, and we were so happy they decided to come to a new town this year and check out the festivities, it wouldn't have been the same without them!
Next we explored Solvang and had some lunch.  There are so many quaint little stores and the people here are beyond friendly.  I honestly feel like this town could steal my heart!
We took the girls home for a little rest, then went back into town for the big firework show.  We headed down to the Mission, and set up camp.  There was a big dirt field that over-looked a cliff and the Santa Ynez Valley (aka WINE COUNTRY!).
Then went to explore the carnival that was on the otherside of the field.  The girls had their share of bounce houses and even found a FREE face-painting booth that we couldn't pass up!

The fireworks were honestly the best I have ever seen!  They were big, loud and SO close to us!  There was patriotic music playing on the loud speakers in the background.  I was cuddled up with my sassy little ladies and just taking in the moment, it was AMAZING!!!!
Hope you all had an awesome 4th of July!!!

More to come on our new adventures!!!  We are loving it here so far, and can't wait for visitors!

After looking at this post....I think it's hitting me. :(

I am at my sister-in-law's house in a bedroom where Beau is sleeping and I want to ball my eyes out, but I have to put my game face on and walk out and hang out with the fam. :(

I'll call you when I get home! Miss you!!!
